MUSICAL TALKS
My Philosophy statement is as follows
"To bring a cultural musical & educational entertaining programme to the wider community including those otherwise who would be socially excluded"
Through the beginning of 2021 I decided to hold musical educational events throughout my local district of North Yorkshire.
The purpose of these talks we're to involve the local community and excite the public with my musical involvements & shows.
Erik Satie
"The Life And Time Of Erik Satie & The Return Of Erik Satie"
At Scarborough Unitarian Church, & Whitby Brunswick Centre.
Demonstrating the Composers life, history, and performing some of his music.
These two shows worked out very well.
These events also enticed my audience and as-well as this fascinated them with something new and completely different to anything seen or heard in their community's before.
I performed these events through words & music, And other musicians included local Flute players, spoken narration from local theatre companies, local Scarborough Artist Cougar Nan Lang displaying his original Art Work based on the theme of my talks,
and surprise acts including The Hatton School Of Performing Arts, A local Dance School from Scarborough performing Avant-Garde & Contemporary Dancing styles.

Philip Glass
"Through The Looking Glass"
At Scarborough Unitarian Church.
Through this talk I have demonstrated the life, music, and history within one of the most famous and popular composers today in our modern times Philip Glass.
I performed some of the composers original compositions as-well as getting other local performers involved such as drama Artists reciting poetry while I was accompanying the poet. I also played music over video visuals edited and created by me being two popular films that Philip Glass scored being Koyanisquatsi & a short animation on the novel by Frank Kafka called The Metamorphosis to which Glass composed the original music too.
Art by local Scarborough Artist Cougar Nan Lang was also displayed conveying Minimalism Glass's Style, & self portraits in many unique styles.
The performance had brilliant feedback from the audience for a different event for the community, and as-well as this people we're even asking me to host regular events.
